It’s Fire Door Safety Week… and we’re asking, “how much do you know about fire door safety?”

We should all play a part in ensuring that fire doors perform effectively in the event of a fire, from the manufacturer, supplier and installer, through to the building owners and occupiers… knowing what to look out for and how to report it if it’s faulty, might just save lives.

Research conducted by the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) found that over 30% of those asked believed that a fire door propped open with a fire extinguisher or wedge was safe!
